Hi, my name is Kelsey, originally from Phoenix, AZ, I’ve spent the last 6 years in Massachusetts, attending Williams College and then working in Boston. I love swimming, cats, and all things “art.”
I am blogging because I have been lucky enough to receive a Fulbright grant to teach English in Gorontalo, Indonesia at MAN Insan Cendekia Gorontalo. I’ll be posting periodically to chronicle my experiences abroad. I hope to keep my eyes, ears, and mind open, as this experience is going to be one of a lifetime!
MAN Insan Cendekia:
Students from all over Indonesia come to attend MAN Insan Cendekia, which is a highly selective Muslim boarding school, grades 10-12. Over 90% of the students graduate to continue their studies at the University level, domestically and abroad. MAN Insan Cendekia also provides a strong religious education, as well as a focus on community, so that the students graduate to become leaders and philanthropists.
